I interned at BRAVO! in 2011. After BRAVO! I worked at Social Tables, an event planning software company, for the past four years. It was a great experience helping planners and venues optimize their workflows to create seamless planning experiences. At Social Tables, I was Chief of Staff and helped Social Tables with the integration when it was acquired in the fall of 2018 by Cvent. Currently I am taking time off to figure to recharge my batteries and to figure out what I want to do next!
BRAVO! was an incredible experience because of how closely we were able to work with organizations who are passionate about making a difference in the community. I loved getting to meet the teams who were actively working on raising money and spreading awareness about their cause. It was a very special experience being able to give back through events.
I started my career at BRAVO! and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I learned how important a positive and healthy work culture is, I learned the importance of teamwork and how important it is to be there for everyone on your team, and I learned how to manage complex projects. I am so thankful for Nancy Shaffer for opening her door to me and allowing me to be part of what she created.
