Get ready to read the ramblings of a young chatty girl!
Well it's been a while but I’m back! A lot has happened since I last posted on here. I’ll give you the quick E! News Rundown (for those of you who don’t know me I say this all the time and for those of you who do… I’m sorry I said it again). My time has been filled with a wonderful trip to Hawaii, an amazing day of bargain shopping, work, work, and more work!
First let’s discuss Hawaii. It was a lovely trip that I got to spend with my family. Now that we are older it has been very complicated to get us all in the same place at the same time. Even in the summer when we are all home, we are rarely all together. So an 8 day trip across the country together was just what we needed. Maybe 8 days was a little more than we needed once the sibling arguments started. I would say the best part of the trip was the beautiful house we stayed in on the big island (if you have time just search the onion house and check it out). The most memorable moment definitely would be our 5 mile hike through a valley. It had mountains, waterfalls, and black sand beaches. The real kicker was the walk back up which was the equivalent of 84 flights of stairs. So after my workout for the month was complete, I could eat all that my heart desired.
My bargain shopping story is just an excuse for me to brag about getting a pair of urban outfitters pants for $6.35 when they were originally $49.99. They were a pair of nice pants that I got for work. I realized after wearing them once that I definitely miss having a nice flowy dress when it is 90 degrees outside and 23498340980% humidity.
Finally there is all the work I have been doing. Between my internship and my job at a local orchard, I am a very busy girl. There are always happy moments to enjoy while working though. My favorite moments this week include having in depth discussions about the bachelorette, hysterically laughing with my fellow interns, and listening to Jess sing.
Being busy is better than being bored. Life is good. I am very thankful. Thanks to anyone who actually read all of my nonsense!
